The Imaginary Friends

There was a time when imaginary friends were my closest companions. As I grew up, I longed for real friendships, chasing connections that sometimes left me hurt. Over time, I withdrew, staying within familiar circles, hesitant to open up. But now, I've found my "imaginary friends" in the real world—people from different places, shaped by diverse experiences, and each bringing something unique to my life. This artwork captures the fluid dance between solitude and connection, between longing and fulfillment. Inspired by Henri Matisse’s Dance (1909), it weaves psychological depth with moments of harmony, loneliness, and the celebration of genuine companionship.
